Plouse offers value-add services to be your one-stop-shop for all precision manufacturing needs. Plouse is more than just manufacturing. Whether your needs are for a quick and easy parts run or a challenging, more complex multi-process component, we have a comprehensive set of end-to-end services that ensure high-quality and lower costs. We provide end-to-end solutions, including outsourcing work as needed, through our value-add services.
Anodizing and Plating
Anodizing
We provide the anodizing of products to decrease corrosion, increase wear resistance, and provides a better adhesion for paint primers and glues. Anodizing is an electrolytic passivation process used to increase the thickness of the natural oxide layer on the surface of metal parts. Anodization changes the microscopic texture of the surface and can change the crystal structure of the metal near the surface. Coatings are often porous, even when thick, so a sealing process is often needed to increase corrosion resistance.
Plating
Plouse provides various product plating to inhibit corrosion, improve solderability, harden, improve wearability, reduce friction, improve paint adhesion, and alter conductivity. Plating describes surface-covering where a metal is deposited on a conductive surface. Coating a metal or other material such as plastic or ceramic with a hard, nonporous metallic surface improves durability and beauty.
Heat Treatment
Iron | Steel | Aluminum
Plouse Precision Manufacturing offers a wide range of heat treatment services to increase the strength of material. This process is also used to obtain certain manufacturability objectives, such as improving formability, machining and restoring ductility after a cold working operation. Heat treatment is an enabling manufacturing process that stabilizes material properties to the desired result.
Our Heat Treatment Processes Include:
- Aging
- Annealing
- Baking
- Direct Gas Fired
- Drawing
- Heat Treatment
- Indirect Gas Fired
- Normalizing
- Pit Type Furnace
- Tempering
- Preheating
- Quenching
- Retort
- Furnace
- Stress Relieving
Painting
In additional to our manufacturing services, Plouse also offers painting services. Paint coatings are applied to improve product appearance and protection.
We spray any material which provides the coating the product specifications may require. We use a multi-gun system to assure quick production with 100% part coverage. After painting, the product is baked for a hardened finish. Our comprehensive set of end-to-end services ensures high quality and low costs.
Sheet Metal Fabrication
Plouse Precision Manufacturing specializes in sheet metal fabrication. Our skilled and experienced machinists are able to fulfill our clients’ specific needs in our facility, which houses a diverse range of state-of-the-art equipment.
Welding
Our staff of experienced welders utilizes a variety of state-of-the-art welding equipment to solve welding engineering problems and eliminate weld defects. Their experience extends to soldering, brazing and developing welding procedures as well. Welding is a fabrication process that joins materials such as metals or thermoplastics through coalescence. This is often achieved by melting the workpieces and adding a filter material to form a pool of molten material (the weld puddle) that cools to become a strong joint.
This latter process is sometimes used in conjunction with heat or by itself to produce the weld.
Plouse provides procedure and techniques to meet your MIG and TIG welding requirements. We provide steel, stainless steel, aluminum, nickel or titanium welding processes.
